Do The Work Helpline

Do The Work Helpline

The Helpline is a volunteer-based service offered around the clock, seven days a week, as volunteers are available. This helpline is for people new to The Work and for those needing occasional help or support in doing The Work.

Ready?

  1. Come prepared with a completed Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet, a single stressful thought you want to do The Work on, or questions about how to do The Work.
  2. Check the schedule and contact a facilitator by clicking the button at the bottom of this page to see the schedule.

Watch the video of Katie demonstrating how to fill out a Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet.

Fill out a Worksheet, judging someone other than yourself, especially if you are new to The Work.
If filling out the Worksheet is confusing in any way, Helpline volunteers are available to guide you through the process.
For more on the Judge-Your-Neighbor Worksheet, read the first three sections of Chapter 2 in Loving What Is.

The Helpline is staffed by volunteer BKI Certified Facilitators and Candidates within the Certification Program. These facilitators are ready to support callers throughout the world with the four questions and turnarounds of The Work. We support you in accessing your own wisdom and finding your own answers. The Helpline is the gift that we, the receivers and hosts of the calls, love giving.

Please understand that our Helpline facilitators are not serving as mental health practitioners. This is not therapy. We do not give advice and have agreed not to, as a requirement for being a volunteer Helpline facilitator. For life-threatening emergency, call 911 or your local emergency contact (i.e. police, fire department, etc.).

In order to connect, you must call during a Helpline volunteer's scheduled availability. They do not make or accept calls outside of these scheduled times. If you are looking for ongoing facilitated sessions or an appointment, we invite you to request such sessions from one of our Certified Facilitators. All calls to the Do The Work Helpline must be dialed directly. No collect calls will be accepted. Do The Work Helpline facilitators respect your wish to remain anonymous, if desired.
