Deepening Your Relationship to Self, Others and Community - A Residential Retreat

Deepening Your Relationship to Self, Others and Community - A Residential Retreat

May 17-20, 2019

“Human interaction can be a great spiritual practice… or it can be hell.  When you receive whoever comes into your life at this moment as a noble guest, when you allow each person to be who they are, they begin to change. You may meet yourself and them for the first time...”  ~Byron Katie

Your relationships are a mirror. A playground where you can learn to be vulnerable, honest and responsible; free from grudges and resentments. We offer you concrete tools to expand the possibilities in all your relationships.

Whether its your relationship with yourself, your family,  your neighbours or your community, you can use those relationships to grow, develop and learn.  Be free no matter who you are relating to.

You will use The Work of Byron Katie (Inquiry) to look into your relationships and question the stressful stories you are holding on to. We will guide you in Mindfulness Meditations and Inquiry to bring to the surface those beliefs that contribute to creating “hell” in your relationships.

With an open mind, you may discover how you compromise your own happiness and freedom in the pursuit of pleasing others.

What stories stop you from living honestly and in your own integrity?

As facilitators, we use our skills to support you in learning practical and powerful tools that will benefit you for the rest of your life. Stretch and grow beyond limiting beliefs, and enhance your ability to lead a deeply fulfilling life, here and now.

Prerequisite: Please read "The little book" available as free download here.

"It has now been just over a week since I attended Surati’s beautiful get-together to explore Byron Katie’s Work and dive into some deeply rooted issues of my own existence. When I first arrived I didn’t know what to expect, yet the loving atmosphere within the group of strangers - who later became greatly appreciated companions on a journey of self-inquiry - was almost imminent and set a comforting tone for the entire weekend. And now, after having spent some days exploring Katie’s Work on my own, I still feel this new sense of peace that has been with me since the workshop. My most sincere gratitude to all. Thank you."
—Maximilian Waid, Victoria B.C.

"I feel a shift in me after Kathy's workshop and I want to go on with The Work.  I want to do another workshop.  This is really helpful to free me up and be more real and happy."
—Eveline, Netherlands

"I only give 5 stars when I have a life altering experience. I certainly did, although I only realize it now as my life is unfolding since last Wednesday. Surati is an extremely kind, loving, generous, insightful, discerning person. It is a joy and pleasure to work with her. Everyone should be so blessed."   —Chahna, Vancouver

"The Work with Kathy has been useful for my  personal development, social skills, developing communication skills and self awareness.  The technique helped  me  expand my  perspective and worldview, it also provided healing of some past experiences."
