Relationships – I Need Your Love is That True?

Relationships – I Need Your Love is That True?

Wednesdays: May 29 - July 3, 2019
11:00am - 12:30pm PT

“Love is wonderful—except when we are searching for it, trying to hold on to it, or missing it. Hours of every day are taken up with difficult, painful thoughts about our relationships”. This experiential class will introduce a way of relating that is much easier than our usual approach, and more effective. Through our work and exercises, each class we will be doing The Work with each other and individually. As we uncover and discover together the thoughts that create so much suffering in our lives, we will be taught the empathic skills of listening and speaking from the heart. You will learn how to have a fulfilling love life, and you will find out how you can be in charge of your own happiness.

People who do The Work as an ongoing practice commonly report:
• Alleviation of depression: Find resolution, even happiness, in situations that were once debilitating.
• Decreased stress: Learn how to live with less anxiety or fear.
• Improved relationships: Experience deeper connection and intimacy with your partner, your parents, your children, your friends, and yourself.
• Reduced anger: Understand what makes you angry and resentful, and become less reactive, less often, with less intensity.
• Increased mental clarity: Live and work more intelligently and effectively, with integrity.
• More energy: Experience a new sense of ongoing vigor and well-being.
• More peace: Discover how to become “a lover of what is.”

Join us as we untangle the stress and discover that the pain we experience in or out of relationship can be brought to peace and clarity. You will need to have a copy of Katie’s book “I Need Your Love – Is That True?” so that we can move through this class together.

Additional Information

"With thanks to Marty and Evie - excellent facilitators and a fantastic team together - I experienced how light-hearted and easy my life is without wanting anything, without seeking approval or appreciation and without expectations of others. And how painful it is to be in a state of mind of wanting more instead of noticing love and gratitude that is always present". JK

“I have found this class to be in depth, the exercises uncovered some deep hidden concepts that have had an impact on my life. I would do this class again." T.M.

“I would absolutely recommend this to others. The exercises allowed me to go much deeper into my work. I have felt something shifting in me through the work I did in this class.” J.K.
